The Catrike 5.5.9 eCAT marries the comfort and versatility of the standard 5.5.9 recumbent trike with Bosch’s Active Line Plus electric-assist, delivering smooth, natural-feeling power in a precision-engineered steel frame that folds down in seconds. Its ergonomic, adjustable seat and self-centering Ackermann steering geometry provide long-ride comfort and stability, while roller wheels and a quick-release indexing boom clamp make transport and storage effortless.

At the heart of the eCAT is Bosch’s 50 Nm torque motor offering up to 270 % assistance up to 20 mph, backed by a 400 Wh battery for a maximum range of 62 miles, all managed via a sunlight-readable Purion display. The 1×11 drivetrain (44-tooth chainring, 11–42 cassette) with gear-shift detection ensures seamless power delivery through every gear, while Avid BB7 disc brakes stop you confidently and Schwalbe Marathon Racer tires (406 front, 559 rear) roll smoothly over mixed terrain. Integrated SUPERNOVA Mini 2 headlight and TL3 Pro taillight systems draw power directly from the eCAT’s battery so you stay visible without extra charging.
