Hotter'n Hell Hundred

What is Hotter'n Hell?

Hotter’N Hell Hundred is one of the oldest and largest cycling events in the nation. Over 10,000 riders from across the globe will come to Wichita Falls, TX for 4 days of challenging and inspiring activities. It has grown into a endurance road ride, mountain bike racing, professional criterium racing, trail running & a gravel ride.

Before the Ride - Have a Pace Plan

  • How Fast Can I Ride?

When it comes to pace, there are 3 choices:

    1.Walk (steady effort)
    2.Run (hard effort)
    3.Race (all-out effort)

  • How Fast Should I Ride?

Your body will cooperate when you ride at a pace that you have trained for, so listen to your body.

    Warning Signs:
Overheating (feeling the heat), inability to eat, stomach discomfort, dizziness, cramping and/or headaches.

  • How do I fuel up?

Eat a good meal the night before (dinner fuels the morning). Stay
hydrated. Get a good night’s rest. Get up early enough to eat a good breakfast (breakfast fuels the afternoon).
